Zoran Barbić: This particular photo was a shoot for a new model I’ve started working with and it was all about spring and the pop of colors.

Do you have a specific theme or topic that is the focus of your photography?

Zoran Barbić: I kind of do which would be portraits and car photos so slowly I’m incorporating the two together as one.

What have you gained/experienced while working with this topic?

Zoran Barbić: I’ve improved on my angles and finding the right angles ASAP for the particular subject of the day.

Tell us something about yourself that most people wouldn’t notice about you.

Zoran Barbić: You probably could notice that I aim to be symmetrical and portion my photos evenly.

What’s a piece of advice you would offer to other photographers to encourage their creativity?

Zoran Barbić: Don’t follow trends to a T work around them and throw your own spin on them. It’s important to stay relevant but also color outside the lines.

We at Bokeh Focus appreciate Barbić’s approach to portrait photography. Highlighting the beauty of his subjects with attention to detail, Barbić emphasizes the details while maintaining synergy with the environment. Thank you for sharing your work with the greater Bokeh Focus community as well as words of advice, Zoran.
