What is the story behind the photos you’ve submitted?
Connolly: These are photos from photo shoots I have done with various cars throughout the past year. Some are also from the IMSA 2022 Petit Le Mans Endurance race!
Do you have a specific theme or topic that is the focus of your photography?
Connolly: I generally focus on automotive content and everything around it. I Especially focus on Motorsport and track photography.
What have you gained/experienced while working with this topic?
Connolly: I’ve gained many connections and friends throughout my time in the car community. I also gained a hobby because I also love driving and racing cars as well!
Tell us something about yourself that most people wouldn’t notice about you.
Connolly: Despite the obvious need of a strap in the line of work I am in, I run my camera empty with no strap or harness! I like to live life dangerously I guess.
What’s a piece of advice you would offer to other photographers to encourage their creativity?
Connolly: It is great to look at others for inspiration and to learn more about your subject, but some of your favorite and best work will be when you ignore the trends and do your own thing!
We at Bokeh Focus enjoy the captured moments Connolly shares. His passion about race cars and his sense of fulfillment in capturing memories to share with others is clearly seen in his work. Thank you, Carson, for sharing your work with the greater Bokeh Focus community as well as your words of advice.
