Ash Rahman, from Birmingham, United Kingdom, is Bokeh Focus’ January Photographer of the Month. Rahman’s photograph received the most votes among three other nominees. He previously won Photographer of the Week during the final week of January.
We interviewed Rahman to share his advice and experiences with the greater Bokeh Focus community. He shared a few words saying, “Don’t focus too much on others, enjoy what you’re doing, keep practicing and getting your shots.”

What is the story behind the photos you’ve submitted?
Ash Rahman: I just enjoy taking photos.
Do you have a specific theme or topic that is the focus of your photography?
Ash Rahman: Street photography at the moment.
What have you gained/experienced while working with this topic?
Ash Rahman: Being patient is key, waiting to capture the shot at the perfect time can really make a difference.
What’s a piece of advice you would offer to other photographers to encourage their creativity?
Ash Rahman: Don’t focus too much on others, enjoy what you’re doing, and keep practicing and getting your shots.
