Amy: Me just being authentic and having fun going out and taking photos.

Do you have a specific theme or topic that is the focus of your photography?

Amy: Street and urban.

What have you gained/experienced while working with this topic?

Amy: Just go have fun and try new things.

Tell us something about yourself that most people wouldn’t notice about you.

Amy: I’m pretty goofy and not as serious as I look in portraits of me.

What’s a piece of advice you would offer to other photographers to encourage their creativity?

Amy: Just go take pictures the way you want to and don’t feel like you have to fit into anyone else’s expectations of you and don’t compare. Everyone has different styles and tastes. Be you and only that.

We at Bokeh Focus enjoy the impromptu urban aesthetic that Amy conveys within her photography. Managing to grasp her surroundings and emphasize its beauty is truly captivating. Her sense of individualism comes through with every capture. Thank you for sharing your work and words with the greater Bokeh Focus community, Amy. We hope you continue having fun on your journey as a photographer.
