Andrea Klerides: Self-Portrait
Bokeh Focus 2020 Exhibit_01
Our 3D, immersive virtual exhibit opened on Nov. 13, 2020. Andrea Klerides was our featured New York photographer.
Andrea, 31, is a photographer living in Astoria, N.Y. She studied broadcast journalism and political science at Hofstra University, then worked in news and media for six years before opening her own photography business.
When COVID-19 struck New York City, Andrea’s inner journalistic instincts kicked in. This gallery is a close-up of her Astoria, neighborhood during the pandemic.
“This is a historic moment from health, social, economic and political perspectives ... it is our duty as photographers to document and share the world around us with others.”
