Congratulations to our photographer of the week, L Congratulations to our photographer of the week, Lucian Staite! He is 15, and from Coventry, Britain.

Lucien decided to pick up a camera as a new hobby and form of self-expression. He hopes to form his own community of photography lovers in the future. 

To get this shot, Lucien had to make a quick decision.

“I saw trains coming across a bridge, thought of the shot, ran home to collect my equipment, and took the shot and posted later that day,” he said.

His love for photography started when he received a camera as a teenager. “I was gifted my first camcorder during secondary school and since then I have always loved the idea of being able to create something unique through video/capture a particular moment with a photo.”

Chris wants to pursue photography as a career.

“I hope to potentially venture into the professional side of photography however the most important aspect of it for me is to keep enjoying it no matter where it takes me.”

Congratulations to our photographer of the week, J Congratulations to our photographer of the week, Joe Lombardi!!! Joe is 23 and lives in his hometown of Melbourne, Australia.

Joe started getting into photography a little over three years ago: “My friends bought me a camera for my 21st birthday.” This gift has allowed Joe to find his true passion and capture the world around him. Joe has been able to capture breathtaking landscapes around Melbourne and other Australian cities. His camera has also allowed him to capture the social movement of 2020 Black Lives Matter.

Joe’s photography has always been driven by hard work and determination. He stands by the motto, “Always take an opportunity when you are given it.” He believes that as a young photographer starting out this is the best thing to live by because you never know what will come out of an opportunity.

He has ambitions to continue his photography career and one day to take his passions and turn it into a career. ”2020 has allowed me to evaluate what I want to do with my life and photography is something I love and gives me drive.”
